Problem

On the one workpiece it is necessary to provide several holes. Every hole requires time and money. Competition pressure forces you to reduce costs and terms. With a multiple-spindle head you can provide these repetitious operations at a time. It is valid for drilling, as well for sinking, reaming and threading.

Solution

The multiple-spindle heads of series EVB were developed specially for this purpose and for shorter lots of workpieces. The offer contains

heads having 2, 3 and 4 spindles for various maximum diameters. According to need you can choose the optimal size. Shorter lot the more often it is necessary to adjust a head. It is possible to provide this operation very quickly and simply due to head design, so that you do not lose time obtained during machining. Setting is enabled by means of the turning of the mounted eccentrically spindle according to a setting gauge.

Application

The multiple-spindle heads are utilizable at short and middle lots for machining at current tolerances. They are suitable for all material kinds from metals over plastics up to wood in all industrial sorts. As a drive any drilling machine can be used having corresponding output. For threading it is necessary to use a drilling machine having right and left motion or a threading machine.

Accessories

Fixing adapter – serving for head fixing to any drilling machine. According to the drilling spindle it is possible to use a flanged or gripping design.
Carrier – serving for transmission of power of driving unit on head spindle.
Spindles for length levelling during threading with different lead.
Tool guide saves a centring on a workpiece.
Collets and chucks for tool fixing.
