The body and cover of worm gearbox are made from grey cast iron according to ČSN 422420. The wheel rim is from bronze, class ČSN 423145.00. The spiral worm and worm gear shaft are from material class 11.
The worm gearboxes are solved for application with a flanged electric motor which is connected with the gear shaft by means of a suitable coupling (LKN, VPS).
It is possible to order worm gearboxes with or without an electric motor. Motor covering is IP-54. It is possible to deliver gearboxes with the output shaft on the right or left side (see the table of modifications) or with two-side taken-up shaft. It is possible to use gearboxes for both direction of rotation.
The gearboxes with single-thread worm can be self-locking in some cases. As the self-locking of worm gear is conditional on numbers of factors, which the producer cannot affect, in case when any backward rotation of drive must not be achieved it is recommended to mount with worm gear a securing device.
For achieving of very small revolutions it is possible to order the connection of two gearboxes having different size.
